Joppa is well known in the Bible as the place where Jonah struggled to go to Nineveh at God’s command, but it also plays a significant role much earlier than that in biblical times. Being one of the main ports it was well used during the building of the temple when King Solomon brought the cedar wood from Lebanon through this port. This morning you will visit the exhibition centre and view a 4-d review of life in King Solomon’s times and the role Joppa played in the Old Testament. After your visit to Joppa you will travel along the coast and then through the Carmel Mountain range to Muhkraka where Elijah slew the prophets of Baal. Now on route to Tiberias your last visit today will take you to the Nazareth village, an authentic village depicting life in Jesus times. Overnight at the Caesar hotel Tiberias

Breakfast at hotel. Journey north of Galilee towards the Golan. Today you will have a n opportunity to meet with the soldiers serving in that region. A short visit to the Valley of the Dove and then to Banias (Caesarea Philippi where Jesus visited with His disciples). Return to hotel for dinner and overnight. On your return to Tiberias you will have an opportunity to visit a local Olive factory.

Journey to Capernaum, the centre of Jesus’ ministry and on to Mount of Beatitudes, Located at the foot of the mountain, you will find Tabgha (the region where Jesus performed the miracle of the five loaves and two fishes). On the shores of Galilee, the new city of Magdala has recently been excavated. Spend some time here exploring this ancient fishing village and synagogue. Ascend to Mount Tabor (transfiguration). Your evening will finish with a boat trip on the sea of Galilee before returning to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast and check out, you will travel to Nazareth for a meeting with a local assembly. After the service you will continue to Beit She‘an for a visit to this ancient city. Saul and his 3 sons were hanged on the city walls and then their bodies taken to Jabesh and buried. Your journey will continue towards Jordan River stopping at Qasr el Yahud, the baptismal site on the River Jordan. Your day will finish at the David Dead Sea hotel for dinner and overnight
Monday 9 November 2020
After breakfast you will have the opportunity to have a swim in the dead sea. After check-out, you will head towards Masada. Continue to Masada.
Ascend/descend by cable car. Visit the ruins of this famous stronghold.
Your first views of Jerusalem will be seen as you ascend to this great city for the final part of your journey. Dinner and overnight at Yehuda hotel for 5 nights.

Breakfast at hotel. Commence your tour today with a panoramic view of the city from the Mount of Olives.
From here you can view and visit Church of Ascension,
descent via Teardrop Church, to Gethsemane. Drive through
the Kidron Valley, visit House of Caiaphas where Jesus would
have spent His last hours and also their area where Peter
would have denied the Lord. This afternoon visits Hezekiah’s
Tunnel and City of David. After dinner enjoy a Sound & Light
show at the David Citadel Museum. Some free time to enjoy a
browse at the Mamilla Mall. Overnight at hotel.

Bypass the Menorah at the Knesset and spend time at Yad Vashem and Valley of the Lost Communities.
This afternoon departs Jerusalem for the short journey to Bethlehem. Bethlehem is much bigger than it was in Biblical times but a visit to the shepherd’s fields gives you some insight into Ruth’s encounter with Boaz and those shepherd’s guarding the most previous sheep for the sacrifice in the Temple. There is lots to be learned from a visit to those simple fields. Return to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

Visit the Temple mount area and continue to the pool of Bethesda and Church of St. Ann. Walking tour of Old City (with lunch stop on route) Visit the Western Wall, where Bar Mitzva ceremonies take place. Continue to Western Wall Tunnels for a tour before we finish our day at Davidson Centre and Southern Steps. Dinner and overnight at hotel

Visit to house and village of Emmaus. Arrive at Garden Tomb around
12 mid-day to finish our tour with service as we overlook Golgotha.
